HDM -DCP : Human Development Model – Disability Creation Process

HDM – DCP

Human Development Model – Disability Creation Process applies to all people with disabilities, regardless of this impairment/disability’s cause, nature and severity.

The HDM – INDC shows that carrying out life habits can be influenced by strengthening capacities or compensating for limitations through rehabilitation and technical aids, but also by reducing obstacles in the environment. Example of obstacle: prejudice, limited assistance and resources, home or school sometimes inaccessible, difficult access to suitable printed information or limited accessible signage helpful in displacement.
